Letting Go of Grief - Losing a Brother

On a Friday evening, in the warm ambiance of a cafe in Sant Antoni, Barcelona, Hana and I embarked on a transformative journey during a single session, releasing years of trauma. You might wonder how it's possible to have a session in a cafe, but I find unconventional places conducive to healing as the subconscious mind feels less attached and more engaged with the environment.

The focus of our session was to release the profound pain lingering from the loss of Hana's brother, Kenji. He passed away on May 11, 2019, leaving behind recurring dreams and nightmares that haunted Hana for over three years. These vivid, heart-wrenching dreams often involved surreal scenarios, such as encountering his spirit in a haunting blue hue and reliving moments at the crematorium.

Hana opened up about the emotional burden of these relentless dreams and the deep sense of loss she felt. While much of the sadness and pain had eased over time, she couldn't escape these dreams. Although I can't recall the exact steps, the emotional impact remains vivid.

During the session, she mentioned a Japanese tradition observed during funerals where the bones of the deceased are collected using chopsticks. I guided Hana to tap into her memories, visualizing her brother's bones from the cremation dispersing into the universe.

At that moment, Hana experienced a release wave, freeing her from the shackles of pain. Whenever grief resurfaced, my guidance echoed in her mind: "Imagine releasing your brother's bones, spirit, and energy so he is everywhere." This became Hana's ritual, a mental exercise transforming how she perceived her brother's presence. She envisioned the pieces of his bones gracefully floating, surrounded by an infinite aura of his enduring power and energy—a poignant reminder that his essence lives on within her.

As Hana let go of a belief memory she had held onto for three years, she opened her eyes, and we both felt the energy shift. It felt like shedding a heavy suit, allowing extreme love and self-love to flow in. Words can't fully express the feeling of truly letting go, but there was a profound sense of relief. Hana asked, "What happened?" I replied, "You let go, and you will never have the nightmares again. Together, we transformed your memory into joy instead of pain."

The cafe in Sant Antoni was the setting for more than just a conversation; it was the backdrop for a profound healing journey. My guidance provided Hana with a newfound perspective, helping her navigate grief and cherish the enduring connection with her brother's spirit.

Since this session, Hana has not had nightmares and now dreams of her brother in a different light. She even had another session, learning to invite her brother into her dreams.
